What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The attire for our wedding is dressy casual. What the heck does that means? * Dress * Skirt and dressy top * Dressy pants outfit * Nice jeans and dressy top * Seasonal sport coat or blazer, and slacks * Dress shirt, casual button-down shirt, open-collar or polo shirt * Optional tie When in doubt, go with what makes you feel comfortable!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

September in Ohio could mean 96 degrees and humid or 46 and sleeting rain! So roll the dice on what you decide to pack. The venue will be primarily indoor with the opportunity to sit outside on the patio.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony is a private affair. The reception is your opportunity to come celebrate with us! It is located at the Barn at Monticello 1480 Chadford Gate SE. Canton, OH 44709

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our reception will be held indoors. There is an outdoor patio to enjoy if the weather permits.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Arrive at your leisure! Food and drink will be ready at 6pm and our music will play through 9pm. The reception is open house style. We will have no traditional timeline of events.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is a parking lot attached to the barn. If spaces are limited you can park along the street side.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones and welcome them to join in the celebration. We will have kid friendly activities arranged if they join us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have allocated a specific number of seats for each party. Please RSVP any additional attendees.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP by August 30th. You have the option to mail back your rsvp or conveniently fill out one on this website.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food? Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Finger foods and drinks will be available all night. We will be serving a buffet style meal at 6:30! We are mindful that everyone has different dietary needs and will try to accommodate as best as possible. Vegetarians options will be available!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #vowingvincent so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
