Maid of Honor
I’ve known my maid of honor since kindergarten, which means she has witnessed every phase, questionable decision, and embarrassing moment right alongside me — and somehow still chose to stick around. Through every season of life, she has been my constant source of support, laughter, and honesty. As an L&D nurse, she spends her days calmly bringing babies into the world, so handling me on wedding day should hopefully be one of her easier shifts.
Best Man
Austin and I have been best friends since we were little. We played sports together growing up and have continued that same friendship to this day. Growing up in a small community there wasn't a lot to do for fun so we made sure there was always something to do (interpret that how you may). When Austin is not fulfilling his best man duties, he is the newly appointed CEO and President of a bank. His leadership and commitment make him the perfect best man.
Bridesmaid
Being my older sister means she has had a front-row seat to my life from day one. While she's only known me for 27 years of her life, I've had the honor of knowing her my entire life. Through every laugh, argument, inside joke, and milestone, she has always been one of my biggest cheerleaders (and occasional reality check). When she's not doing her civic duty as a municipal employee for the City of Aurora, she's off learning (through trial and error) a new craft. To all of the DIY projects the bride took on that you'll see at this wedding. You can thank Elvira for her guidance and supplies. I’m so grateful to have my built-in best friend standing beside me on such a special day.
Groomsman
I have known Frank since about 2012. We grew up in different towns but we played basketball against each other in high school (Frank's team always won). We continued that friendship onto community college and have been very good friends since despite living further away from each other. When Frank and I aren't "gaming" or going to sporting events together, he is working on the farm with his dad and being the best girl dad to his daughter Lo. It was an easy decision to have Frank be by my side during this special day.
Bridesmaid
We met in second grade and we have been inseparable since then. When we are not bonding over music, current events, or comedy, we are on a double date with our partners who get along better than we do! On the occasion that she is not helping her patients as a social worker, she is talking me out of (or into) an impulse purchase. So if you see anything glamorous at this wedding, thank Casey for talking me into it.
Groomsman
Just like Frank, Bryce and I have been friends since about 2012. Frank and Bryce grew up together so that is how I got the fortunate (or unfortunate lol) chance of meeting Bryce. Bryce is always the life of the party and goes out of his way to make sure you are doing good and or having a good time. I greatly value our friendship and I am very lucky to have him by my side on September 26th.
Bridesmaid
I met Crystal in middle school, which means we met at the most vulnerable, awkward, and confusing time in our lives. Somehow, she has seen me grow out of phases, into new ones, go back to old ones, and stuck around (cheers to that!). Crystal's spirit is vibrant, charismatic, & energetic. She goes on runs...for fun! Having her in my wedding was a no brainer. I knew I could count on someone on the dance floor the whole night.
Groomsman
I have known Justin since we were 4 years old. The earliest memory I have is from when we were playing in the sandbox at a local park and we were eating sand. I remember my mom telling Justin's mom we shouldn't be doing that and all she said was "they will poop it out". While we do not eat sand anymore, our friendship still holds strong. Justin, Austin, and I were always seen together and we did everything together. Having Justin by my side was a no brainer and I know Justin's sense of humor and personality will bring good vibes to this wedding.
Flower Girl
Valeria is our niece and one of the smartest & cutest three-year olds you will meet. Her mommy is Yaneth's cousin. Valeria can do it all, she helps her daddy when the car needs fixing, she's a diva in heels, and she can sing. When choosing her to be our flower girl, it was an easy decision. She's got the skill of precision and the talent to walk down the aisle with poise.
Ring Bearer
Gael is our honorary nephew and one of the sweetest & arguably cutest two-year old you will meet. His mommy Erika works with Yaneth in the hospital & when they aren't on shift, Gael spends his time at our house playing (terrorizing) our cat Marky. He is really good at plating Marky's food at lunch time, and also guards his cheese sticks with his life, so we have no doubt he will be a great ring bearer.
