What is Vowapalooza?

Vowapalooza is what we're calling our wedding ceremony and reception. It's a nod to our shared love of live music and the high-energy vibe we want the night to embody! Our first date was a concert in New Haven (Hobo Johnson & the Lovemakers) and we've been to countless shows since. If you're still lost, Vowapalooza (pronounced Vow-a-pa-loo-za) is a play-on-words of the Chicago-based music festival, Lollapalooza. We've never been but we're having fun with a wedding/concert theme.

The ceremony and reception will all be indoors. No need for umbrellas or ponchos.

We're looking to celebrate the night in semi-formal attire: suits, blazers, cocktail dresses, gowns, and upscale jumpsuits all welcome!
