Like all great modern love stories… ours began on a dating app. Misty was just casually scrolling one evening when a certain profile stopped her mid-swipe. Right there, in bold letters, was the chorus of a song she’d known (and low-key loved) for years: “If you like Pina Coladas and dancing in the rain…” Wait — a guy quoting the Pina Colada song and possibly obsessed with the ocean? She had to know more. One message turned into a conversation, which turned into a rapid-fire game of “2000 Questions” — a very scientific, very ridiculous, and very effective way to discover things like: Do you believe in miracles? What’s your go-to comfort food? And are you Team Pancake or Team Waffle? (Important life compatibility things.) Our relationship has been full of adventure from the very beginning. We’ve taken road trips, beach trips, mountain getaways — you name it. Exploring new places has become one of our favorite ways to make memories, grow closer, and get a little lost (both on purpose and occasionally by accident... thank you, GPS). 🚗✈️🌍 But beyond the laughter, the playlists, bad dad jokes (okay, mostly his) and the passport stamps, what’s held it all together is our shared faith. From day one, we’ve invited God into this journey — praying through big decisions, leaning on grace during challenges, and trusting that every step has been part of something bigger than us. Now we’re saying yes to forever — with full hearts, packed bags (probably last-minute), and a whole lot of love for the people who’ve supported us along the way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you — and yes, there may be Pina Coladas and at least one perfectly terrible dad joke waiting at the reception. ☔💛🍍
