The dress code is semi-formal wear. The wedding party will be in formal wedding attire, and it’s optional for all guests. For men, they should wear a classic suit or tux including a tie, and formal evening wear (floor-length dresses or evening pantsuits) for women.
We have a block on rooms at a local hotel. For more information on block hotel rooms, please go to the travels page.
For the cocktail hour, there will be veggie trays. For dinner, we are having Old Carolina Barbeque. Hand pulled pork and smoked pulled chicken with sides of country green beans and skin-on garlic mashed potatoes. A garden salad with Italian or ranch dressing. Corn bread with cinnamon and vanilla honey butter.
We respectfully request no children under the age of 15 at the ceremony or reception.
With the wedding being in November, Ohio weather can be tricky. The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) with an inside cocktail hour and reception to follow.
