We're so excited to finally celebrate with you!

Josh and Elsie officially met in the fall of 2017. After knowing of each other and having a few classes together at their college, one of their dear friends decided to try and set them up. On Elsie's 21st birthday, Elsie accepted a dare to go and chat with Josh, who was sitting alone at the bar. The rest is history. During the 3 years that they dated, Elsie and Josh never lived in the same town or zip code for more than 2 months combined. After many terrifying, icy road trips of over 300 miles, they were very excited to be engaged and finally start planning the rest of their lives together. In 2020, all of their plans derailed when the COVID-19 pandemic struck the world. Although it was difficult for them at first to accept the changes, they trusted in God's plan, knowing everything would work out for their good. On June 13th, 2020, Elsie and Josh were married in a small ceremony surrounded by family and close friends. Later that month, Elsie and Josh moved to Sanford, Florida where they moved into their first home together and started their new jobs as a teacher and a principal. These first months were challenging, but so exciting getting to build their new lives together. They are so excited to get to celebrate their marriage with family and friends this May, even a year later. They hope to see you all there!
