Once you navigate to the RSVP page, type in your name exactly as it appears on your invitation (fully spelled out, no nicknames or abbreviations). This should unlock your RSVP link and you can select whether or not you are attending and choose your meal for the reception. If you are having issues, make sure your name is typed correctly. Also, make sure you scroll through the whole page - if another guest has the same name as you, an error message may pop up, but you will still be able to select your party below that error message. If you are still having issues, please reach out to one of us by phone or you can email Hannah at hmihok16@gmail.com.
The dress code for our wedding is your standard semi-formal/cocktail attire. Dresses, nice pants/tops, etc. We just ask that you please don’t wear jeans or shorts.
Due to the most recent PA restrictions, both the ceremony and reception will be outside. However, we will have tent coverage as well as utility fans. The inside will be open for bar access, dancing, dessert, cooling off, etc.
There are no on-site accommodations, but if you refer to the “Hotel Block/Travel” tab, we have reserved a block of rooms at a nearby hotel for a discounted rate.
Please please PLEASE try to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early (around 1:45pm). This is a holiday weekend so please plan accordingly in case there is traffic. We don’t want you to miss any of our special day!
The Gables is also a restaurant so they have a great deal of parking. If you turn right just before the building you will be in a parking lot. Park anywhere in there. It is also free to park here, of course.
Your wedding invitation will state who exactly in your family is invited to attend. While we would love to have everyone and all the children there, we are maxed out at the number of guests the Gables can safely accommodate.
Your wedding invitation will state exactly who is invited and if a plus-one is included. As mentioned above, we are anticipating to reach the full capacity of the number of guests the Gables can accommodate. If space frees up we can certainly let you know!
Both the ceremony and reception will be at The Gables. The garden where the ceremony takes place is right behind the reception hall so no transportation is needed. If you plan on staying at the Best Western or any other nearby hotels, please plan your travels accordingly.
The lanterns you will see on each table are rentals from the florist so PLEASE don’t take those lol. You are welcome to the floral wreathes surrounding the lanterns, however.
Please do!! Our only request is that you please have your phones away during the ceremony. The photographers should be able to capture plenty of pictures and we want you looking at us, not your phone screen! After the ceremony, snap pictures to your heart's content and please post them using the hashtag #AWholeNewVolz so we can look at them too!
This is the number one question we get. (I think we’ve gathered quite the reputation lol). We are not having an all-out Disney wedding like many would expect. The wedding color palette and reception decor is *inspired* by the movie Tangled. We have chosen to include very subtle references to Disney things, but no, you will not find Mickey heads everywhere or be dancing to a strict Disney Hits playlist haha. Let us know how many secret Disney touches you’re able to spot. ;)
