Question

What is the wedding date and location?

Answer

Our wedding will be on October 25, 2025 in Lake Orion, Michigan. The ceremony will be held at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. The reception will follow at Paint Creek Country Club. We can't wait to celebrate with you in these beautiful places!

Question

How Can I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please visit the "RSVP" tab on our website and fill out the online form. To help us finalize details with our vendors, please be sure to submit your RSVP by September 25, 2025. Your timely response helps us plan the day smoothly and ensures we can accommodate everyone with care. Thank you!

Question

What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

Mass will begin promptly at 2:00 PM, and we encourage you to arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat and settle in quietly. Your presence and reverence mean so much to us on this special day.

Question

What is a Catholic wedding Mass like?

Answer

Our wedding will take place during a full Catholic Mass, which typically lasts about one hour. It includes prayers, readings, a homily (short sermon), the exchange of vows, and the celebration of the Eucharist (Communion). In the Catholic Church, Holy Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics. If you are not Catholic or do not wish to receive, you’re welcome to remain seated or come forward with arms crossed over your chest for a blessing.

Question

Do I need to be Catholic to attend?

Answer

Not at all! All are warmly welcome. We just ask that everyone respect the sacred nature of the service, regardless of religious background.

Question

Can we talk or greet the couple before the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests enter quietly and formally greet us after the ceremony at the reception. Quiet conversations and quick waves to greet others are absolutely acceptable, but please remember that others may use the time before the ceremony to pray.

Question

Are photos or videos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos or videos during the Mass to respect the reverent environment. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully — thank you for being fully present with us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is Formal or Black Tie Optional. We ask that you wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi- or tea-length dress would be appropriate. Our bridal party will be wearing shades of green. During the ceremony, we ask that guests are mindful of modesty in the church setting. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation to see if a guest is included. Due to limited seating and headcounts, we ask that only those named on the invitation attend.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We believe that weddings are a celebration for everyone. If you do choose to bring children, please remind them to be respectful and reverent during the ceremony mass. Please also note that there will be an open bar and music at the reception may be for mature ears.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes! Parking is readily available at both the ceremony and reception venues.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Answer

No, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at the respective venues. At the reception, there are patio areas for guests to enjoy if weather permits.
