What about COVID-19?

Answer

We decided to get married in a private ceremony in June 20, 2020 due to COVID-19. We will be hosting a wedding reception, including a vow renewal ceremony, in the Spring of 2021, continuing to follow local COVID-19 restrictions. Looking out for the health of our family and friends is our top priority. We want everyone to feel safe and enjoy our day with us. As always, wash your hands, and if you don't feel well, please stay home.

When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP online by April 15, 2021. *Formal Invitations will be sent by March 15th, 2021.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

Answer

We will only able to accommodate those children formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to contact us with any questions!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please dress in business casual. Nice jeans are OK! Sundresses are welcome. Want to pull out that nice suit? That's also OK!

Where is the ceremony/reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at Waterloo Regional Police Association Banquet Centre. 1128 Rife Road Cambridge, ON N1R 5S3

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 in the afternoon. Please arrive with plenty of time to park and find your seat.

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

There is room for 600 vehicles on the grounds. Vehicles can be left on the property overnight.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. However, if the weather is not in our favour, we will be moving the ceremony indoors.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We are hoping to serve a buffet, however, this will depend on local restrictions at the time of our reception. Dinner options are still being determined.

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Answer

Please use the notes section when you RSVP to advise of any dietary restrictions. You can also email us using the Contact Us tab. We want to ensure everyone has options for their meal.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to budget reasons, we are not able to offer an open bar for our guests. We are planning an a cash bar for our wedding day.

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "un-plugged." Please refrain from photographing the ceremony, as our wonderful photographer will be there to capture our "I Do's." However, before and after the ceremony, please take as many pictures as you wish. When sharing on social media, please use #VoldockStockAndBarrel so we can find them after our Big Day!

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Cambridge Hotel and Conference Center. You must call and book your reservation using the discount code "Farrant-Loeffen & Voldock Wedding". Preferred rate of $132.00/night - Buffet included for 2 people. Additional people is an additional $10/person. Standard Room with 2 Queen beds, or 1 Queen bed and a Pull Out Sofa. Rooms will be released back to the public on April 1, 2021. Book early to guarantee preferred pricing!

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

We are currently exploring shuttle options between the venue and hotel. We will update our website with our decision as we approach our wedding date.

Answer

We are registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Is there someone I can contact if I have any other questions about the wedding?

Answer

Please reach out to either of us in person, via phone or via Facebook with other questions prior to our Big Day.

When is the Bridal Shower?

Answer

The original Bridal Shower has been postponed with the postponing of the wedding. A new Virtual Bridal Shower was held in March 2021. Anyone who was not able to attend, but would still like to honour the couple, can take a look at their registry.
