San Francisco
Visit the city where we first met! Recreate our first date by kicking things off with brunch at Zazie on Cole Street. Then, make your way to Golden Gate Park for a rowboat adventure on the mildly suspicious (but scenic!) Stow Lake. After rowing backwards for more than half the route and possible radioactivity, stroll over to Cindy’s favorite café, Rise and Grind, for a much-needed caffeine fix. End the day with a movie at AMC downtown where popcorn is mandatory, awkward hand-holding encouraged.
Mission Peak
Head to the top of Mission Peak for the iconic photo with the pole! Having grown up in Fremont, Ryan has climbed Mission Peak with friends many times. Afterward, head down into the small plaza near Ohlone College for some after-hike ramen and eats!
Westfield Valley Fair
Cindy's happy place, aka her second home. If you're looking to go shopping, visit Valley Fair Mall for the best stores, charming restaurants, and decadent desserts!
Santa Cruz
Make a day trip out to Santa Cruz! See the world famous Mystery Spot. Lay on the pristine Davenport Beach. Grab a sweet treat at Penny's Ice Creamery. Watch an amazing sunset at UC Santa Cruz's OPERS field.
Del Valle Regional Park
Fishing, Hiking, Good Times. What more can you ask for! A short drive from Pleasanton, head here for a day with the family and friends for a relaxing time on the lake. You can even reserve a campsite here for even more fun with smores and a beautiful view of the stars and night sky.
