Christy met Josh at Baylor on April 10, 2021, when her classmate (and Josh’s roommate), Brady Miner, invited her to a house party. Brady introduced her to his roommates, including Josh. When Christy shook Josh’s hand, he casually said, “Hi, my name is Josh.” Something about that moment felt special to Christy. She thought they had an instant connection. Two weeks later, she decided to take a chance and invited him to her Chi Omega Senior Formal. The only problem? Josh didn’t actually remember meeting her. He hesitated at first, but since he only had a few weeks left of college, he figured, “Why not?” Josh went to Christy’s formal on April 24, 2021, and from that night on, they’ve been inseparable.

Christy is finishing her final year at Boston University School of Law and will start a career in Real Estate Law after graduation. Josh is completing his final year at McGovern Medical School in Houston and will begin a Radiology residency after graduation. We are so excited to begin this next chapter of our lives together!
