Nick was on the baseball team, Sam was in Kappa Delta and the two groups held an event for the Cameron K. Gallagher foundation on Lynchburg’s baseball field in the fall of 2019. The first “date” was a trip through the Chick-fil-a drive through and then their time together continued to grow. The remainder of the school year was interrupted by Covid and Sam and Nick started their long distance relationship journey. By fall of 2020, Nick was starting his life in Columbus, Ohio and Sam was starting her senior year of college making trips from campus to Ohio as much as possible. In May of 2021, Sam graduated college, they picked up their new puppy GSP Goose, moved to Columbus and the rest is history!
