The saying “all because two people swiped right” is how our love story began. We met on Hinge, Alexis threatened to fight Aaron over something we can’t even remember now, Aaron immediately asked Alexis out on a date. We had our first date at the West Middlesex Diner (which is now our go to date night spot), where we both found our similar love for breakfast food. One month after our first date, Aaron asked Alexis to be his girlfriend with flowers, her favorite snacks, and a card with a heartfelt message written in it. At the time, Alexis was living in Pittsburgh and Aaron works a midnight shift so we were only able to see each other on the weekends. We would spend our weekends exploring Pittsburgh and trying to find the best pizza and ice cream place, since we both LOVE pizza and ice cream. If we weren’t exploring, we were watching a sporting event, either the Pirates, Alexis’ younger brothers sports games, or the Penguins. We are both very competitive when it comes to sports so we would always try to make anything a game. When we would go to Pirate games we would bet on whose Pierogi pick would win the race, Alexis is currently up five to zero on Aaron. July 2021 our family was extended with a chocolate lab puppy named Finn, who also loves pizza and ice cream. We are your typical dog parents who take our dog everywhere and spoil him like he is an actual child.
