Can I bring a date?

Answer

Anyone showing up uninvited will be promptly escorted out of the church and / or reception venue. Our wedding will be intimate to enjoy with our loved ones, so we are not extending +1's at this time. If your partner is invited, their name is included on your formal invitation and RSVP option.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is black tie optional. It is recommended that ladies wear floor-length dresses and gentlemen wear a suit and tie. Color-wise, pastels and floral prints are welcome, as well as all black attire.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of close family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony." We ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our day and we would hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony is complete, feel free to take as many photos as you'd like! If you do take any photos, please send them to us so we can also share them! We will be sure to share our ceremony photos as soon as we receive them!

Of course! Please drink responsibly and secure a safe ride home.

Are there any colors we should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride (whites, ivories, and creams), any bright, bold colors, and light blue as that is reserved for the bridesmaids.
