Halloween 2012 in Boise Idaho, we met celebrating Bryan's 21st birthday, with a group of our sorority sisters and fraternity brothers. Bryan was dressed as a rugby player and I had just left work and figured I would stop by in my school nerd costume, to celebrate a fun 21st birthday! When Thanksgiving rolled around, Bryan stayed in Boise, and a group of us went out to dinner and met up for a movie, from there we truly sparked a friendship that would become our love story. After college Bryan moved back to Washington, in 2017 we traveled to New York for a quick weekend trip. Upon my return to Boise and Bryans return to Seattle, it was clear that we didn't want to live far from each other. I made the move to Washington 2 months later, we started to create the greatest memories in Seattle and build our life together.

Emily had what she thought was a girl's weekend in Boise, with her Mom, my Mom, grandma, and family friends; little did she know it was all a surprise, I had orchestrated! I had arranged for some of our close family and friends to be in Boise on Friday, while Emily had arranged to give the girls a tour of Boise State, they ended the tour at the 'B' in the middle of campus. After a quick photo in front of the 'B' I tapped Emily on the shoulder, and let her know she was in the way of my photo, as I dropped to one knee. Her first reaction was "Are you shitting me?!", we celebrated the weekend with family and friends in Boise.
