We met at Clemson! Sam was a "random" roommate of one of my friends, and we went out to dinner for that friend's birthday at Smokin' Pig. We talked all through dinner and ended up seeing each other again downtown Clemson. We did the "Shag" dance at TD's (which is Sam's specialty) and sang karaoke, and started dating shortly after. Funny story: the 2014 Clemson-Carolina rivalry football game was coming up around that time, so we made a bet: if Clemson won, Sam had to wear a dress downtown. If Carolina won, I had to wear a mustache for a day. Clemson won (obviously), and Sam actually went through with the bet! It was love after that! :)
