Marius met Vlad at university in London during a lab in which they were each others partners. They spoke in English the entire time each thinking "this guy might be from back home..." They didn't introduce their names until the end of class and realised they were both Romanian, and they've been friends ever since. Even before meeting Josie he remembers the spark in Vlad's eyes when he spoke about her. Marius is excited that Vlad has found someone who brings him so much joy to spend the rest of his life with.
