A great tourist spot - here you can walk around outdoors, see the outdoor water fountain, the Monongahela River and train station, go in to the Grand Concourse and the Gandy Dancer Saloon for a drink and the wonderful architectural views, There are plenty of restaurants and bars located here as well like Hard Rock Cafe and Joe’s Crab Shack. For a famous Pittsburgh sandwich go to Primanti Brothers. You won't be disappointed!
The incline is the best option if you want to go to Mount Washington. It is a continuous service from early in the morning until late evening. It takes 3-4 minutes from down to up or vice versa. By the way, Mount Washington has a perfect city view. YOU WILL NEED CASH ($3.50 pp)
For the more adventurous traveler, head into the city and to see the fountain at The Point and walk the battlefield.
