Travel Note
For those visiting Minnesota for the very first time: welcome, we can't wait to have you! To join us in Northern Minnesota, we recommend that you fly into MSP Airport, rent a car, and head North for the ~2.5 hour drive to Big Sandy Resort. You can also fly into Brainerd or Duluth, each ~1 hour from our venue.
Hotel
We invite all guests to stay at Big Sandy Resort, where we have a room block under Van Dellen. You will need to call or email the resort to book accommodations. If you look to book online, it will appear that the resort is fully booked due to our hold on the rooms. Both lodge rooms and cabins are available—feel free to book whatever best fits your group. There’s an on-site restaurant and bar, indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and lots of lake access if you feel like exploring. The Roasting House, about a mile from the resort, also serves coffee, breakfast, and lunch. The rooms are released from our block in July 2026, so please book your accommodations before then.
Shuttle
September 12, 2026 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm
There will be a shuttle provided between the resort and wedding venue, about a 20-minute ride. We ask that all guests take the shuttle as there is not parking available at the venue. Please let us know if you have any questions about timing or accessibility. Be prepared to board 10 minutes prior to shuttle departure. Boarding at Big Sandy will take place outside the lodge entrance. Shuttle schedule is as follows: Departure from Big Sandy Resort: 3:45PM Departure from Wedding Venue: 8:30PM, 10PM, 10:45PM
