welcome to our adventure!

Our adventure started with a swipe on Hinge during the spring of 2022, in the midst of a global pandemic! Neither of us knew what we were looking for, and yet here we are, two years later with a ring on Nicole's hand, ready to continue our adventure as partners in life. If you ask Nicole: I still remember our first date like it was yesterday. I was very nervous, meeting a stranger I met online and had only been texting with for a few days (what could go wrong? I could get murdered, that's what!) but I remembered that Josh was all smiles and was very kind (he had a warm and welcoming presence.) My first impression of him after our date was, "He talks sooooo much, but he had such kind eyes" Now that I think about it, if it wasn't for him being such a chatterbox, WE wouldn't be here now and it is one of the reasons I fell for him. Anyone who knows me, I am a woman of few words and I think that Josh's outgoing attitude and presence complements my somewhat "introverted" nature. If you ask Josh: Nicole and I met on Hinge (shoutout to Hinge lol) and man, did we hit it off! We had talked for about a week and finally planned on meeting late at a Lazy Dog Restaurant for some drinks. I was so excited to finally meet her, and when I saw her I instantly got super nervous thinking, "She's even more beautiful in person, don't mess this up and talk too much" If anyone knows me, they know of course, I did! Surprisingly, she didn't run away (haha!) She actually opened up and showed me how bubbly and funny and kind she is, and I was hooked.
