After two swipes to the right, a Starbucks date, a Red Robin and scary movie date, and a trip to the comedy club, a great relationship had blossomed.

It was a bright, sunny day at the end of June 2021, a week before their fifth dating anniversary. They had the chance to go to the Santa Barbara Zoo with some friends of theirs, and of course, Viviana wasn't going to pass up any opportunity to see giraffes. But this just wasn't any trip to the zoo, this one was different: Viviana was going to have the chance to feed the giraffes. Once they moseyed over and approached the feeding dock, Christian wasted no time. He tapped Viviana on the shoulder, turned her around, and got down on one knee. After weeks of planning (and a Saturday margarita day), Christian popped the question and Viviana ecstatically said yes.
