Question

What time should I plan to arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, so please arrive and be seated no later than 5:50pm to avoid disrupting the ceremony. There is a parking lot (with a fee for parking) if you choose to drive. Please remember that Uber is widely available and may be a good option if you do not have a designated driver.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

The short answer is yes! We believe that we included everyone appropriately in the RSVP list, from plus ones to children. If you don't see them when you search for your party on the guest list, please notify us so that we can have them added to give appropriate numbers to the venue.

Question

Is the wedding going to be outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be an indoor/outdoor event. The ceremony will be outdoors, and we have planned to start as late as we can to avoid the peak heat of the day. The reception will be indoor with a terrace area.

Question

Are you getting married on the beach?

Answer

Not exactly! This venue is located on the beach, but our ceremony will not be on the sand. The view from the venue is of the beach, but the direct access points from the venue close at 6pm. The beach is public though, so feel free to visit otherwise!

Question

What are some key things I should know about traveling to Puerto Rico?

Answer

You are going to fall in love! The island, the people, and the food are truly beautiful. They call "La Isla del Encanto" for a reason! That being said, it is a US territory and therefore does not require a passport to travel (a common misconception). Just a "Real ID" (you know, the new licenses) like any other domestic travel within the US. They also use dollars for currency, and many people speak English there although it doesn't hurt to know some Spanish. I have included a website link for traveling to PR that gives a lot of information for additional questions you may have. https://www.discoverpuertorico.com/?id=143

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

I recommend cocktail attire/semi-formal. May is a VERY hot month in Puerto Rico, so keep that in mind. We have decided to start the ceremony as late as we can to avoid excessive heat and will have indoor space for the reception.
