welcome to our crazy love story!

Hello everyone! I thought I would tell you all our story of how we met and the big points in our relationship. We met in the summer of 2014 at the age of 11 while attending Galilean Baptist Church Camp. Neither of us really paid attention to each other. We were both loud and slightly annoying which showed in how we both lost our voices on the last full day of camp lol. A few more years go by and we become friends and start writing letters. We were really bad at it though, sending letters only every few months. Then camp of 2018 we soon went from friends to crush and by the end of that week we had decided to keep in touch through text and phone calls. in June of 2020 We talked with our parents about officially courting but they asked us wait until I graduated high school and Luke finished his first year of college. Graduation night (June 20, 2021) Luke wasted no time in asking me to be his girlfriend and we officially started dating. By this time we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I remember very clearly the day that he told me that he wanted to marry me, raise children and grow old together❤️. We both knew that the Lord had brought us together and that He has amazing things planned for our lives. Over Christmas of 2021 we started talking to our parents about our desire to get married. We prayed for wisdom and God's leading and we asked our parents to do the same. By August of 2022 we were planning on getting married in the summer of 2023. December 27th while looking at Christmas lights Luke got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! To which I happily and tearfully said yesss! We praise the Lord for the way he has brought us together and the ways we've grown both closer to Him and closer together. Please pray for us as we go into this next chapter of our lives and as we plan for the coming years. The Lord has put a desire in our hearts to follow him and to spread the good news of the gospel into the uttermost parts of the world as missionaries to Italy. We know He has amazing things planned and can't wait to see His plan, direction and provision! We hope that each of you will be able to attend the next big step in our story, our wedding!
