Flower Girl
Daniel’s niece and little doppelgänger! She’s sweet and sassy and a kickbutt soccer player. Keep your eyes out for her in the 2040 Olympics!
Flower Girl
The little sister and sweet as pie! She’s the littlest love bug of the wedding party but with the biggest heart of us all.
Maid of Honor
Vivien’s baby sister. The obvious choice for Maid of Honor, 27 years in the making. She shares the spicy Arredondo blood, but is a calm voice of reason. Takes everything in stride, and overcomes everything thrown her way, even lymphoma. F**k cancer! She’s shown great resilience throughout her culinary education and career, battling medical obstacles along the way and never slowing down. Her boldness took her to Utah, a big move and great step into her future. She may be younger, but she is wise beyond her years. She helped me so much through nursing school, going on midnight Starbucks runs to keep me caffeinated. She’s unendingly supportive. If she wasn’t already awesome enough, her sense of humor is unmatched. She'll have you laughing till your stomach aches. We love us some Claire Bear ♥️🐻
Bridesmaid
Vivien’s friend since kindergarten. Having met in 2000, we’ve been friends now for over 25 years… that actually blows my mind. She’s the wild side and constant sound of laughter in the room. She’s kind enough to hype me up, but honest enough to keep me humble. A balanced queen and a quality that’s rare in today’s friendship climate. I think Ashley and I have gone through just about everything together at this point. She’s seen me at my best and my worst, and chooses friendship over all else. Those in her close circle are lucky to call her a friend. She's always willing to go the extra mile, no matter the distance. She graciously insisted that Daniel and I take engagement photos, and took/edited them herself as a gift to us. I’m extremely blessed to have her as a friend and part of my support circle.
Bridesmaid
Vivien’s Sister in Law. She's been around for just about 10 years and fills the room with light and humor wherever she goes. Her sense of adventure and spontaneity is absolutely off the charts. She keeps my brother Jacob grounded and is a perfect addition to our family. It doesn’t matter the occasion, she’s always down and always asking what needs to be done or what she can bring. She’s helped us with home projects and is an awesome gym buddy. She is supportive and dependable and I’m so happy she agreed to this wedding and marriage adventure with me. I appreciate so much all her help with DIY projects, most notably her floral skills!
Bridesmaid
Daniel's Cousin. She fills the room with happiness just with her smile. She's beautiful on the inside and outside. She goes with the flow, has been unendingly supportive, and is the "ride-or-die" that everyone wants in their life.
Bridesmaid
Vivien's friend since Bishop Amat high school. Pamela and I ran high school cross country together and are now trauma bonded over having to run endless miles at the hands of our super villain running coach. She would sometimes spend summer afternoons at my house, while we killed time between two-a-day practices. This is when we would scarf down nothing but a couple boxes of Kraft Mac & cheese! She’s been there through high school girl drama and I’m blessed to still call her my friend 15 years later. She's the helping hand and support system that every girl wishes they had. She’s taken a lot of initiative with planning which is so very much appreciated. She's extremely loyal and authentic, truly a "through thick and thin" type of girl.
Bridesmaid
Vivien's cousin. She's the most supportive queen and always brings her calming, positive vibes. I remember in the early days, she was the lead singer for our “band”, in which she would sing our fabulous self written songs, while Claire and I did background music with plastic maracas and a tambourine. True talent came from that cousin squad. Surprised a talent scout never discovered us, truly. Aside from peak musical talent, Rachel’s smile is unmatched. She makes everyone's' life better just by being in it. She's a hype woman, and you can't help but love her energy as soon as you meet her. She’s been incredibly helpful through this whole process and goes with the flow. I’m very excited to have her by my side on our big day.
Best Man
My cousin Marc Edun has always been like an older brother to me, especially since we lived together for years. As an Army Ranger, he carried himself with a level of discipline, strength, and confidence that I really looked up to. Living with him, I got to see not just the soldier side of him, but also who he was day to day—someone who looked out for me, gave solid advice, and kept me grounded. He had high standards, but he led by example, which made me want to push myself and stay on track. Whether it was through small conversations or just watching how he handled life, he had a big impact on me. He showed me what accountability, resilience, and loyalty really look like, and that’s something I’ve carried with me ever since.
Groomsman
Austin “The Gooch” Higuchi has been a huge influence on me both as an EMT and as a person. As my mentor, he took the time to teach me not just the technical skills, but also how to think under pressure and stay calm in stressful situations. He leads by example, always staying professional, focused, and ready to help others improve. He’s also been guiding me through the process of getting into the fire department, helping me prepare for interviews, build my confidence, and understand what departments are really looking for. At the same time, he’s a great friend, someone I can talk to and rely on outside of the job too. Austin pushes me to be better every day, and I’m grateful to have learned from someone with his experience, dedication, and character.
Groomsman
Vivien's friend since Bishop Amat high school days. Christian has been an amazing friend and support system since the early teen years. We’ve actually known each other since elementary school, but our friendship was more solidified thanks to forced carpooling! So really, we have the moms to thank for his inclusion in the wedding party all these years later. From cross country running events, and high school activities, to now including Daniel and I in camping trips and couples outings. He’s also shown great determination in pursuing his career and has shown just how driven and ambitious he is, making him an awesome murse! Christian is genuine, down to earth, an amazing person overall, and we’re lucky to have him in our lives.
Groomsman
Daniel Hall and I served together in 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, with him as a rifleman and me as a machinegunner, and that dynamic made us a strong team. He was sharp, dependable, and always knew his role, which made it easier for me to do mine effectively. Whether we were in the field or training, Daniel stayed focused and handled himself with confidence. He was the kind of Marine who paid attention to detail and didn’t cut corners, which earned a lot of respect. Beyond that, he was easy to get along with and helped keep things steady when things got stressful.
Groomsman
Jacob Arredondo, Viviens brother, is someone I really enjoy being around because he always looks out for family. No matter what’s going on, he’s the kind of person who shows up and makes sure everyone is taken care of. He’s gone out of his way to help me when I needed it, without expecting anything in return, which says a lot about his character. Jacob is dependable, hardworking, and always willing to lend a hand, whether it’s something big or small. Having someone like him in the family brings a sense of support and trust, and I’m grateful to have him in my corner.
Groomsman
Jose Espinoza is someone I consider my best friend now, and that’s because he’s always been real with me from the start. He’s the kind of person who sticks by you no matter what, whether things are going good or not. We’ve built a strong bond through shared experiences, and I know I can count on him for honest advice and support. Jose is loyal, easy to talk to, and always brings good energy, which makes being around him feel natural. What stands out most about him is how consistent he is—he doesn’t switch up or change how he treats people based on the situation. He’s also someone who motivates me in his own way, just by staying focused on his goals and pushing through challenges. Over time, that trust and consistency turned our friendship into something solid, and I’m grateful to have him as my best friend.
Groomsman
Malcolm Anderson and I served together as Machine Gunners in 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, and he was someone I could always rely on. He understood the responsibility that came with the role and took it seriously, staying disciplined and focused no matter the situation. Whether we were out in the field or going through tough training, Malcolm brought consistency and a strong work ethic every day. He was also a solid teammate who looked out for the people around him, making sure no one fell behind. Serving alongside him built a level of trust and respect that only comes from going through those experiences together.
Groomsman
Trevor James Boose and I served in 2nd Battalion 1st Marines as Machine Gunners,he’s someone I’ll always respect. He was the kind of Marine you could count on no matter what whether it was during long, exhausting field ops or high-pressure situations where things had to get done right the first time. As my APL and second in charge, he played a huge role in keeping our team organized and mission-ready, always stepping up when leadership was needed. Boose had a strong work ethic and never complained, even when things got tough. He also knew how to keep morale up, cracking jokes at the right moments and bringing the team together. More than anything, he was loyal and dependable, and serving alongside him built a bond I won’t forget.
