Barbados' water supply is very safe and you can drink water directly from the tap. Bottled water is widely available if you prefer.

The best way to get around Barbados is in a car – either a taxi or rented vehicle. For the truly adventurous, buses/minibuses are an authentic mode of transport around the island. For those who choose to drive, just keep to the left and keep your wits about you for the twists and turns especially as you navigate the roundabouts.
