All because two people fell in love

Michaela and Ryan met while working at The Dockside Restaurant in York, Maine. Ryan had come up from Florida to work for the summer and Michaela was enjoying her last summer before entering into the real world. At first, Michaela didn’t realize she had a crush on Ryan until her friend knocked her over the head with it after learning about their three hour FaceTime call. Many ice cream dates and an Italian dinner later, they made it official.

Michaela was traveling to Edinburgh, Scotland with her mom to visit her sister who was working a theatre production for the month. Ryan realized all he had to do was get himself there. Kelsey worked some recon and St. Andrew’s Chapel, a ruined structure on the way up to Arthur’s Seat, was chosen. Kelsey took Michaela’s camera and told her to walk around the ruins under the ruse of capturing candid photos. Frustratingly for Kelsey, it took a minute for Michaela to notice Ryan. When she finally did, her face said it all. He got down on one knee and well, … you know the rest.
