To help us with our planning, please RSVP to the events as soon as possible. However, the deadline is August 8, 2025. If we don't receive our RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the vendors with a total guest count in a timely manner.
Garden party, semi-formal. The reception will take place outside, on a grass surface. Our desire is for all of our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the evening without any unnecessary mishaps. While we appreciate everyone's individual style and fashion choices, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white attire, flip flops, jeans, casual tees, etc. on our special day. We’re planning a joyous occasion filled with merriment, and we want everyone to feel at ease, knowing that accidents happen. So, to fully ensure that all guests can relax and fully immerse themselves in the festivities, we kindly ask that you choose a dress that does not include white
The ceremony will take place indoors and the reception will be outdoors.
Wheelchair accessibility via an exterior ramp. Seating is on the first floor with front pew modifications. Please note: the Chapel was constructed without an accessible restroom, as a pre-Americans with Disability Act facility. Guests should plan accordingly. Parking: Event parking is available in metered spaces and Lot #9 between 8:00AM to 11:00PM for Saturday
Parking is located at Lot #53 (1129 Farm Lane, East Lansing, MI 48824). A sign will be present to show where to to park. Note, if you decide to park elsewhere, parking meter or permits will be enforced. Restrooms are locates off the gardens and within the Children's 4-H gardens

Cocktail Hour: Cheese, crackers, and fruit. Vegan cheese and gluten-free crackers will also be provided. Buffet style dinner: Vegetarian lasagna, MI cherry chicken, salad, vegetables, and dinner rolls Dessert: MSU Dairy ice cream: Vanilla, Izzo's Malted Madness, Shaw Lane Strawberry, raspberry sorbet (dairy-free)
Yes! There will be drinks, wine & beer during dinner and an open bar for the party. We want you to have the best time so drinks are on us but the hangover is on you! Don't forget, please respect the florals and plants and don't feed the squirrels!

Unfortunately , there is not shuttle service from the Ceremony to the Reception. Driving - Approx. 5 min drive. Parking is available at both venues Walking - Approx. 15-20 min walk Biking - Approx. 7 min ride Scooter - 5-10 min ride

Ceremony - Phones are allowed during the ceremony; however, we kindly ask phones to remain on silent and turn off flash during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us. Reception - Yes! Please feel free to take as many photos as your heart desires and your phone storage can hold.
Ceremony - The doors will open at 2:30PM and will close at at 3:15PM. Please plan according. Reception - Cocktail hour will start at 4:30PM
In true Michigan weather, it's unpredictable :). Please prepare for all seasons (Likely not winter). In previous years for MI September - temperature ranged from 60F to 90F during the day, 50 to 60F at dawn/night.
