Wesley and Vivian met at their church summer camp in Temecula, CA when they were just kids at 11 and 14 years old. They were even in the same camp group that year but did not like each other after a sassy encounter they shared (guess who was the sassy one)! They didn't interact with each other until a couple years later when Vivian entered high school, and got closer when they were in college and volunteered playing music together. They started dating in the summer of 2014.

Wesley and Vivian got married in fall of 2020. The legal process was expedited due to covid restrictions, so everything got to be done through a 15-minute zoom meeting at their dining room table!

Wesley got an unprompted haircut which made Vivian suspicious, while also asking to go on a hike. He drove her to the Temescal Canyon Trail in Santa Monica and off they went to their proposal. He went to a quiet area and waited for neighboring hikers to pass through before getting down on one knee and *officially* giving her the ring!

Wesley and Vivian wanted to exchange their vows privately since they did not have a wedding ceremony back in 2020. They treated their elopement shoot like a private wedding with a few traditional elements like the first look, exchanging of vows and first dance. Vivian's Pinterest board had Italian villas on it for years, so finding this property in California to exchange their vows at was a dream come true for her. Fun Fact: The movies, The Princess Diaries, and Legally Blonde, were both filmed here!

Now that they've exchanged their vows, the happy couple would love to celebrate their marriage with you - their closest family and friends. They would like to pay homage to meeting in Temecula all those years ago and celebrate with you all at The Meritage at Callaway Winery. Think of this as you "crashing" their 3-year anniversary dinner since their official marriage date is October 5th. Each and every one of you is dearly loved by the couple and they are so thankful to have you in their lives to celebrate with them!
