About the Venue
Nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti region, between the historic cities of Siena and Florence, Antico Borgo San Lorenzo is a charming agriturismo surrounded by the gentle rolling hills, quaint villages, and renowned vineyards that produce the famous Chianti Classico wine.
Originally a rustic farmers’ village, this enchanting property was lovingly restored by the Bandini family in the 1990s. Today, it offers elegant residences while maintaining the original charm.
The property provides exclusive access to all indoor and outdoor spaces including the pool, courtyards, and gardens. At the heart of the estate stands the medieval “San Lorenzo in Pian dei Campi” chapel, a beautifully preserved 11th-century church adorned with the original “La Madonna del Melograno” fresco by Pier Francesco Fiorentino - a testament to the region's rich cultural history.
