Welcome friends and family, we are so glad you are here!

I would loosely classify us as "friends" in high school. We never ran with the same crowds. The occasional run-ins were in the basketball gym or on the school bus headed to or from a ball game. I'm sure we looked (and smelled) our best at these moments. We were mere acquaintances and nothing more. Travis graduated and went straight into the military. Looking back, I don't even remember him leaving. I stayed in Walnut for two more years, then graduated and started my college studies. We had remained mutuals on social media and seen the others' updates here and there. This next part is a little controversial. Travis swears that I reached out to him and wished him a Happy Birthday, but I know that it was he who reached out to me and told me Happy Birthday. Our Birthdays are only a week apart, so it is a little fuzzy on who reached out first, but we are both so happy that one of us did! Travis was stationed in Fort Bragg, NC, at the time. We stayed in contact over his deployment in Syria and started dating shortly after he was back in the states and came home on leave. We have been dating since March 2nd of 2021. We have navigated through many life changes together since, and look forward to the changes that come with joining our lives together. We have both been so blessed to have the other by our side through all the good times and the hardships. We are thankful the Lord led us to one another and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. This was quite long, but if you know us at all, it is never really that simple.
