Guide to Chicago

Chicago has been voted the best large city in the U.S. four years in a row by the Conde Nast Traveler Reader's Choice Awards, and it's known for its impressive architecture, first-rate museums, brilliant and varied cuisine, and over 20 miles of public lakefront. While we do NOT recommend you rent a car as parking can be a pain, there are plenty of options to get around: CTA trains fan out from the city center with Blue Line going to O'Hare airport, Orange Line going to Midway airport, and the north-south oriented Red Line nearest to our Hotels. Michigan Avenue also has north-south buses with a stop 1 block away, and the city's bike share program, called Divvy, has stations all over (the black bikes are electric!). Finally, there are plenty of taxi's and Ubers around. If you prefer to have a rental car we suggest you download an app called SpotHero.
