The Bride's Story: Our story started six years ago in Aiken, SC. It was my Sophomore year in college & first day working at Travinia Italian Kitchen in Aiken. I can still remember the first time I saw Matt. I was walking towards the hostess stand and he was greeting a table that had just walked in, I remember thinking to myself that he was the most handsome man I had ever seen. Matt being his charming and friendly self, headed towards me to introduce himself and welcome me to the team, but I guess I startled him. The first thing Matt ever said to me was "WOW, your eyes are gorgeous!" :) ... Fast forward through a year of hanging out and music festivals. On November 5, 2013 Matt asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then, we have had more friends, fun and laughter than I could have ever imagined. My favorite dream came true on September 15th, 2017 when Matt asked me to marry him and I can't wait to celebrate our new beginning with you! The Groom's Story: Let me tell you a story all about how I proposed to my future wife and best friend! I had to be smart about this process and I wanted to be respectful as my parents taught me to be. "Always ask the family for permission they said, it is the right thing to do they said." Well, they were right. Fast forward through all the planning and nervous sweating I did. 4 months later! It was Friday night in Atlanta, GA. We just arrived for the music festival, Music Midtown. My Mom and Dad purchased an amazing bouquet of flowers for us that I placed strategically outside. Our friends (Allie and Mo) had cleaned the balcony up and put lights everywhere to make it extra special. All apart of the plan! The flowers had a rose shaped box in the middle with Emmie's grandmothers ring she has always wanted. I invited my love outside to check out the view from our balcony and before she knew what was happening...I had "bent the knee" and was asking her to do me the up-most honor of being my wife and partner! #VivaVitaliani
