The first time Natalie and Matthew met was within the 4 walls of Mrs. Pulido's AP English Language class in the 11th grade. Matthew barely spoke - Natalie spoke too much. Natalie and Matthew’s love story flourished after crossing paths at Florida State University. Natalie made the first move in 2016 at Recess Night Club, but alas it was never the right time. Finally, in 2018 Natalie and Matthew became official. From then on out, there were many Florida State football games at Doak Campbell, late nights at Strozier Library, graduation, and ultimately beginning their careers in Miami together. In 2022, Matthew popped THE question to which Natalie said, “Yes.” at Kam Beach II in Maui. Now onto their latest adventure, Matthew and Natalie will become Mr. and Mrs. Valdez in Miami, FL on February 24, 2024.
