The closest airport to Tepatitlan is GDL and is only a short car ride from all hotel and rental suggestions. Uber is available along with taking a bus to our city of destination. If you plan to rent a car, Hertz/Enterprise is reccomended to avoid the "mandatory insurance" scam.

Taxis are the best way for transportation in the city, if they are available. Your hotel receptionist will be able to call a cab for you and there are several taxi lines spread around the city. The most difficult nights to get a taxi are from the 26th -28th. Taxi drivers are very friendly and will give you their number in case it’s hard to find a ride. Keep in mind they only take cash. Don't forget to tip! This time of the year is when the locals make their annual income.

Please keep in mind, this city has a huge celebration called TEPABRIL during our wedding week. It is a very high peak season and hotel bookings open in January and have limited rooms available. Hotels do not take online reservations for the month of April, you will need to call and reserve your room. If you would like to be there, please do not wait last minute and book in advance.
