Andrew and Marissa’s story began in 2013 over a giant "OMG" cheeseburger and a table full of family and friends in Anaheim, CA. While they didn’t know it then, that meal was the start of an unexpected journey. Fast forward ten years: Marissa, a Bay Area native, moved back to Southern California to begin a new chapter in her life, never imagining that her path would lead right back to Andrew. What began as an occasional "hello" between acquaintances soon blossomed into a friendship filled with coffee dates and endless laughter. Though they eventually realized there was something special between them, their first attempt at dating taught them an important lesson: you can’t rush God’s timing. After a year apart, a season defined by prayer, individual growth, and a deepening of their faith, God brought them back together. This time, they weren’t just rekindling a flame; they were building on a foundation of grace. Today, they are best friends, total goofballs, and soulmates. Inspired by the song "God Gave Me You" by Johnny Suite, they are 100% certain that every up and down was part of God’s perfect design, bringing their paths together in His timing and for His purpose. Together with Andrew’s amazing son, Eden, they are beyond ready to officially start their life as a married couple, continuing the story that God so perfectly wrote.
