Stephen and Christian’s story began in the Fall of 2020 with a simple match on Hinge - one of those moments that could have easily passed by, but instead turned into something life-changing. At the time Christian had just moved to Charlotte, NC while Stephen was living about an hour away in Columbia, SC. Before ever meeting in person, they spent hours texting and talking on the phone building a connection that felt easy, genuine, and exciting. By the time they had their first date at Seoul Food Meat Company in Charlotte’s Southend, it already felt like they knew each other. That day confirmed what they both had been hoping for…. that this was something special. From there, their story unfolded naturally into a series of shared adventures and milestones. Stephen made the move to Charlotte, starting a new job and closing the distance between them. Christian pursued and earned her MBA, with Stephen by her side, supporting her every step of the way. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, growth, and plenty of travel - making memories in places like Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Panamá. Each trip was meaningful in its own way, but one stood out above the rest. In December 2025, during a beautiful getaway to Curaçao, Stephen asked Christian to spend forever with him. It was a moment that perfectly reflected their journey: intentional, joyful, and full of love. Now, they’re excited to celebrate this next chapter, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
