Vanessa Verna

Maid of Honor

I met Vanessa for the first time in February 2011, when she was only 9 years old. Fast forward to today, she is now a beautiful, independent, young woman. Some of my favorite memories with Vanessa come from playing Super Smash Bros. and ganging up on Carmine so he didn't win. Vanessa is my shopaholic, fashionista, Italian princess. I am so honored to call her my sister!

Velia DelFiacco

Bridesmaid

My first friend in preschool who has essentially become family to me. Velia is my dance recital and combined childhood birthday parties partner. Between tormenting my brother to play "dress up" in my basement and getting in trouble for talking too much in grade school, we have been inseparable since day 1!

Lauren Nelson

Bridesmaid

I have known Lauren, also known as "babe" for the past 6+ years! Lauren and I ventured out together to Italy, twice, with the Verna family. Though neither of us are fluent in Italian, we can proudly say we survived both trips and made lots of memories in the process! I am so glad Frankie brought you into our lives.

Michelle Frigo

Bridesmaid

Michelle has been one of my closest friends since we were 3 years old! Not only was she my neighbor, but we also went to grade school together. Between trick-or-treating with the neighborhood kids, also known as the "Swain Gang," playing Kick the Can or Ghost in the Graveyard, and our adventures in our kid spy group, we have had so many fun times together!

Morgan Watson

Bridesmaid

I met Morgan at Butler when I was a Resident Assistant in her unit. Soon after we became co-RAs toether and close friends! We roomed together for 2 years after parting as RAs and she even ventured with me to South Dakota for a pharmacy rotation (let's just say it was one heck of a time). Morgan loves coffee almost as much as I do, but she can still take a nap at the drop of a hat!

Sabrina Acquaviva

Bridesmaid

Sabrina is Carmine's cousin by blood, but she has become like a sister to me throughout the years! Sabrina and I became very close when I babysat Milena, her younger sister, for a few summers. We would always have our traditional gossip sessions while Milena enjoyed her 100th episode of Barney for the day. Sabrina has welcomed me into this family with open arms!

Elena Morales

Bridesmaid

Elena and I met during pharmacy school and we became close friends immediately! We roomed together for a year and even have been on two cruises together. Due to Elena's obsession with gymnastics, I now proudly say I understand some of the terminology used during gymnastic competitions! My favorite and not-so-favorite memories with Elena come from our late night study sessions at the Science Library before any pharmacy exam!

Molly Bates

Bridesmaid

Molly and I met in pharmacy school and from our first interaction, I knew her eccentric personality and mine would click instantly! We've done many moonshine tastings in Gatlinburg TN and even touched the stingrays on our post-pharmacy school cruise. Molly is definitely the life of the party and always knows how to make you laugh!

Chiara Birardi

Bridesmaid

Chiara is by blood Carmine's cousin, but I like to think of her more like a sister. From the first year I came around, Chiara and I became super close. Chiara is by far the kindest person I have ever met. You will NEVER hear her say a negative thing about anyone! Chiara is my always smiling, kind soul, future cousin to be.

Milena Acquaviva

Junior Bridesmaid

Milena is Carmine's cousin and holds a special place in my heart as well. I babysat Milena when she was just a few years old and we've had countless memories together. Our favorite memories with Milena include trips to Berens Park to go on the swings, and watching hundreds of hours of Barney, and everything in between! Milena can light up a room with just a simple smile and hello. We are so excited to have Milena stand up on our special day with us!

Mia Colella

Junior Bridesmaid

Mia is Carmine's cousin and has become like a younger sister to me as well. Don't let her being the youngest of three brothers fool you; Mia has definitely learned quickly to "keep up with the boys." She is our smart, athletic, and caring little girl (though she is growing up a little too quickly for our liking). My favorite memory with Mia is dancing with her at her First Communion party and Carmine has countless memories playing Rocket League together! We are so excited to have you stand by our side for our special day!

Isabella "Bella" Maurino

Flower Girl

Bella is Jennifer's cousin and has definitely stolen both of our hearts. Bella is the first girl in Jennifer's family since Jennifer was born, so needless to say Bella is loved and treasured by her family! We have enjoyed watching Bella grow from holding her in our arms the day after she was born, to chasing her around the house now that she has learned to walk/run! We cannot wait to continue making memories with you and watching you achieve every milestone. You are so loved Bella and are so excited to have you with us on our special day!

Francesco Verna

Best Man

My blood brother; we have so many memories growing up together. I have seen him grow and grow, and now he stands at 6'3". I am so proud of my brother and everything he has accomplished. He is someone who puts others before himself and will never complain about anything. Simply put, I would go to war for my fratello. P.S.: although somewhat rare, if you are able to get my brother to laugh, it is actually hilarious to see.

Anthony Clementi

Best Man

Anthony is literally a brother from another mother. One of the hardest workers I know, he has nearly doubled in size since the day I met "John Clem". However, do not let Anthony's strong physique fool you, he can love just as much as he can lift. I can crack jokes with Anthony at any given time and his ability to coin terms and expressions that make no sense (but are absolutely hilarious) are some of my favorite traits about Ant.

Kevin Clark

Groomsman

I met Clark in CCD many years ago. Throughout all this time I have gathered he is one of the luckiest people on this planet. We have been and still are competitive gamers when it comes to sports, video games, and board games. Clark somehow always manages to pull off some crazy feats during these games. However, I cannot always attribute everything to luck for he is intelligent, hilarious (punny), and a facilitator to getting our friends together. I realize that I am the lucky one for having a good friend like that in my life.

Tomasso Colella

Groomsman

Tomasso has always been an older brother that I have never had. Since we were kids I have looked up to him all my life. Nothing can beat the times we had causing mischief, playing soccer on Sundays, and having play dates at each others houses. The amount of inside jokes we have and still remember is remarkable and I won;t forget them "till the day I die.

Vince Virgilio

Groomsman

I met Vince in high school despite us living only a block away from each other for all our lives. You can count on Vince for always getting the party started and making people laugh. One of many of my favorite memories with Vince (and fellow groomsman Tito) was going to Lake Koshkonog in Wisconsin. We were able to party with lots of beer, sunshine, and water-sports. Lastly, he is also the best professional ball boy I know, if you need your baseballs handled, call Vince.

Mark Birardi

Groomsman

Mark has been one my closest cousins growing up. We grew up in Elmwood Park together and had sleepovers and play-dates whenever we could. We are definitely nerds at heart and love to play Yu-Gi-Oh, Heroscape, and all other types of games. I think that we will play these types of games until we turn to dust. To sum Mark up, he has a big heart, a big laugh, and lots of hair that I am envious of.

Pietro Notarnicola

Groomsman

Pietro is the oldest of our cousin group but boy does he move like he is the youngest of us. He is extremely hard-working and loyal to his family and friends. I enjoy chatting sports and playing fantasy football with Pietro. I love the memories of Pietro playing on soccer Sundays making incredible plays, which may or may not have been intentional.

Mark Antinori

Groomsman

Mark has been one of my oldest friends from childhood. We met somewhere around the 3rd/4th grade and have been buddies ever since. We played countless hours of video games together before online play was a common thing. However my favorite times with Mark and my other lifetime friend Josh (next door neighbor to Mark) would have to be hanging in the alley just playing basketball, ghost in the graveyard, and the occasional BB gun wars.

Christopher Tito

Groomsman

I lost my wallet in grade school. Someone found it and returned it to me with everything still inside, that is when I met Tito. Tito is someone I can always chat and crack jokes with. Even though he lives in Dallas and is often on the road/ out of town, he always attempts to keep in touch with all of "da boys". Some of my most fond memories with Tito would have to be partying with him at all our friends college during undergrad (can't disclose that information).

Timothy Cleary

Groomsman

I met Timmy playing COD 4 , as we called it, before I met him in high school. Throughout the years we ended up getting real close, going to each others houses on a daily basis in the summer and just hanging throughout the town. I always felt Timmy & his older brother Ritchie were like brothers to me. My favorite memories with Timmy would have to be NHL sleepovers at his house where the loser would usually go and rough-house the winner of the game.

Vito Notarnicola

Usher

Vito has historically, in my eyes, been the one cool cousin I always wish I could be. He can chat with anyone, is extremely funny, and was always good with the ladies (but we’re happy he landed the best girl, April). We also have countless memories together, one of the best would have to be when we witnessed Italy win their 4th championship at his house. I also cannot leave out soccer Sunday, holidays, and cracking jokes at family parties. I had a blast being in Vito's wedding and am honored to have him in mine.

Micheal Colella

Usher

I still remember the day when Micheal was born, I was able to hold him the very next day. Now he is about to finish high school and I feel like I am one of the old people now saying "where has the time gone". Mike has to be one of the hardest working kids and is always on the prowl to find that next dollar. I love cracking jokes with Mike and hearing him laugh. He is also is great at trolling family members, like myself, and I absolutely love it.
