We recommend a "ready to wear" lehenga set. Sandals, wedges or heels work great. If you would like, dress it up with jewelry (bangles, necklace & earrings). Please refrain from red, as the bride will be in this color. We suggest shopping at Kalaaz (Parsippany, NJ), Nazranaa (Marconi Ave. in Iselin, NJ) or Amazon.com. If you prefer not to wear an Indian outfit, please wear a formal floor or mid-length dress. For men, traditionally a "sherwani" or "kurta" is worn. We recommend a kurta, which comes with pants! Slacks or dress pants work too. Dress shoes can be worn. We recommend shopping at the same stores as above. Please refrain from wearing white/ beige as the groom will be in this color. If you prefer not to wear an Indian outfit, a classic suit works!
