WHAT SHOULD I WEAR? IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

In the spirit of our celebration, we invite you to wear formal garden party attire. Ladies should wear a long dress or gown - pastels and floral print are encouraged! WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED TO/FROM THE HOTELS?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided for wedding guests at DoubleTree Battle Creek in advance and following the wedding festivities. Formal schedule to come.

WILL THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The welcome party, ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors and the reception will be indoors. Parasols will be available for the ceremony and there will be seating under a tent for the welcome party and cocktail hour!

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE THIS TIME OF YEAR?

Answer

The average temperature in Battle Creek in July is 84 degrees. It will likely be hot and humid. The manor has shaded patio areas and we are bringing in a tent for our guests to stay cool.

ARE KIDS AND BABIES WELCOME?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids and babies at home so you can celebrate with us.

When should I plan to arrive in Battle Creek?

We are so excited to celebrate with each and every one of you. We understand this is a destination wedding and appreciate you making the trip. We recommend to plan your travel to arrive in Battle Creek by Friday July 18th to ensure you can fully participate in all weekend festivities. Check in at the DoubleTree Hotel begins at 4 pm.
