Asian fusion - fun vibes with good drinks. Our faves are the salmon & pork belly bowl. If you get the tofu bowl, ask for the gastric on the side. Corn fritters, sesame noodles, and the tomato melon salad. Get both desserts. Basically the whole menu is yummy.
Authentic and yummy Korean food
Very tasty ice cream. We like the beet ice cream :)
South Indian food. It's delicious. In case you're craving a lil more Indian food!
Vegetarian brunch option - it's tasty and the place has old-school Austin vibes (our fave!)
We're loyal to this BBQ joint and this BBQ joint only.
The best bagels we've ever had. Try the longhorn (it's not actual longhorn, just the name of the bagel sandwich)
Bomb tacos. Hey, you're in Tejas!
The best boba. A must try!!
If you're looking for a place to drink & hang out with friends or family, East Austin is a good place to go. Whisler's has a mezcal tasting room and a food truck with really yummy burgers. This place is hopping by nighttime, but there are many other restaurants, bars & breweries to hang out at in walking distance.
This is where our hotel blocks are. It's ~20 minutes from downtown, but fortunately for you this place is filled with shops, restaurants, bars and other amenities! You won't need to travel ~too~ far to find something to do if you're here.
This is the best place on earth. Bring your bathing suit and $5. Local tip: park at the entrance on Azie Morton - you'll avoid the crowds.
For the running, biking, walking, sight-seeing, paddle boarding or kayaking enthusiast! It is ~10 miles round trip, but you can cut this short using the many bridges.
Where all of Austin congregates for a day in the grass. It's a scenic part of the city to play sports or picnic (or both)
Depending on the rainfall, this place has natural spring pools you can jump into and swim in. It also has an extensive hiking trail system. It has a <$10 entrance fee.
Hilarious comedy show. Note it's left leaning :)
For all our jazz lovers
Very beautiful botanical garden with sculptures
Well curated selection of art on the UT Campus. We like this museum a lot :)
Easily one of the coolest looking libraries we've ever been to. Has a garden on a terrace overlooking the city. You can just go there to hang out (as we have)
