We'll be bopping around town all week and hope to meet up with all of you as much as possible. If you have some time to explore, below is a list of our favorite places to check out.

Bingham Falls

Make a right on Notchbrook Rd and drive 0.25 miles. You'll see the pull-off on the left side!

Fosters Swimming Hole

Flat, Easy and pretty hiking trails on Edson Hill rd.

Wiessner Woods

Drive into the notch and hike up sterling mountain. At top there is an alpine pond you can swim in. Beautiful views as well! About and hour up. You might even spot Sterling the resident moose.

Sterling Pond Trail

Beautiful famous grounds. Very Vermont feel with alot to do and see. Popular mountain bike trails. Go to the bierhall or play frisbee golf

von Trapp Brewery & Bierhall

Rec path runs all through town and along the streams. One of the most popular things to do in town. Take a dip and along the way to visit the shops and restaurants.

Stowe Recreation Path

Another popular hike, but definitely worth it. On the other side of downtown but has great sweeping views of Mt. Mansfield and other big mountains.

Stowe Pinnacle Trailhead

The highest peak in VT. Either take the gondola ride up then a short hike, drive your car up toll road, or hike it. Best/hardest hike is via the Hellbrook trail.

Mount Mansfield State Forest

Great beer list. Excellent food menu. Reasonably priced. Close by. Local wood-fired food, craft beer, creative cocktails, and an extensive wine list.

The Bench

Another great craft beer and cocktail list. Great food, well priced, big local scene.

Doc Ponds

Located in Morrisville (15 minute drive) but is my first pick for best lunch food and excellent beer.

Lost Nation Brewing

Also located out in Morrisville but offers incredible food and great drink selection. Sit outside at the picnic tables. Get the smoked wings.

Black Diamond BBQ

Mexican restaurant in town. Great food and atmosphere. Occasional live music on weekend. $$
