Kyle had planned an amazing off road trip with our adventure friends. We camped in Ouray, CO above the town in the mountains. Our first adventure was Black Bear Pass before the rest of the group made it out. Black Bear was filled with rolling hills of greenery, glaciers and frozen lakes with crashing waterfalls. The views were incredible and was an amazing start of the trip. Saturday we had the whole group and did Engineer and Cinnamon Pass. The views were once again amazing but nothing compared to Imogene Pass. Filled with water trails, mines, and historic buildings, Imogene Pass was incredible. It took all day to get up to the top of a long dirt road with walls of snow on either side. The pass overlooked the entire valley and with a thousand foot drop on either side, the point was the destination. I had to crawl out (I'm afraid of heights) so that we could take pictures. With all of our friends looking, Kyle got down on one knee and asked me to "keep adventuring" with him. He was shaky, I was shaky, and the moment was perfect. I will never forget this day, or this trip. I loved that we got to spend that special time with some of our favorite people.
