We’re getting married!

Virin and Anthony first connected online, and it began with a few messages sometime close to New Year of 2014. Contrary to what some people may have assumed, Virin was actually the person to initiate the conversation. After getting to know each for about a month or two, they decided to meet in person to see if they felt sparks. Virin took the train from Hanover Park to Union Station where Anthony was casually leaning against the wall waiting after a long day of work. They took the Blue Line together to grab a bite to eat at Dimo's Pizza. While Anthony ordered two slices of pizza, Virin only ordered one because lactose intolerance is not a cute look on the first date. They talked about more of their interests including music tastes, and when Virin told Anthony that his favorite artists were One Direction and Taylor Swift, you could see a look of doubt cross Anthony's eyes, but he decided to give Virin the B of the D (benefit of the doubt). After they finished their pizza, Anthony took Virin to one of his favorite bars, The Violet Hour. The bar had a Great Gatsby/swanky feel to it and felt very intimate. Virin ordered a Dark & Stormy, and Anthony ordered a Manhattan. Conversation flowed effortlessly, and hours passed like minutes making this the longest first date that either of them had ever had. Safe to say now, they definitely felt sparks.
