It all began in kindergarten, when we sat side by side and shared crayons. Neither of us knew then that something so small would grow into something so special. Through the years, we grew up together—classmates, teammates, and by middle school, best friends. We were always there for each other, through the awkward years, endless laughter, and bad haircuts. Somewhere along the way, friendship began to feel like something more. At fourteen, that feeling became impossible to ignore. One evening, a nervous hand reached for the other, and with that simple touch, everything changed. From that moment on, we weren’t just best friends—we were each other’s first love. High school only made our relationship grow stronger. We’ve seen each other grow, stumble, and shine. We’ve celebrated achievements and carried each other through hard days. Our love wasn’t a sudden spark; it’s been a steady flame, one that’s grown brighter as we’ve grown up side by side. Now, as high school sweethearts who have known each other nearly our whole lives, we are beyond grateful to be writing the next chapter—marriage. What began with crayons and playground swings has led us here, to a lifetime of love, laughter, and forever together.
