We're so excited to celebrate with you!

My mom met Dalton first at a wedding reception. She told me about him, but at the time I wasn't interested in a relationship. It wasn't until running into him AGAIN at another wedding reception that she really felt him and I needed to meet, and made sure she expressed this to him too. I didn't make it to the reception because of a late night at work, but joined the after party. They tried and tried to get Dalton to come, but it wasn't meant to happen that night. Gil and my mom both insisted that I reach out to him, and check out his Facebook. "He's such a great guy, and he SNOWBOARDS! You'd be great together!" Suddenly, two people that had never tried to be match makers, felt like cupid with his arrow. So, I reached out to him that night. We continued to talk and found out that we had way more in common than we could have asked for. We both love dogs, outdoors, snowboarding, music, family. The list goes on. We spoke for a couple of months and one day I was getting out of class early in downtown GR when Dalton happened to be working 2 blocks away. Following serendipity, I headed over to the parking garage, walked to the top and met his dad with a familiar hug, our mutual friend that had been the other match maker, and finally, Dalton. When we looked at each other we both felt as though we had already known each other over multiple lifetimes. I couldn't even text my mom clearly I was so overjoyed. We spent some time together, and met each other's families. (He was the first guy my dad didn't try to intimidate and ACTUALLY liked) Most importantly, my daughter Lily immediately loved him, and he loved her. Since then, we have lived in an apartment in the city, moved to the country to build a house while residing with his parents, created our own home out of a horse barn, where we are now growing our family. We have been through the hardest times of our lives together and some of the best, and are ready to make the vow of being together for the rest of our lives.
