Wear something nice! Suits, cocktail attire - you don't need to pull out your white/black tie, but it's a life event! If you don't dress up for this, what else would you dress up for? Court? As a reminder, Los Angeles in the springtime does get cold at night, and we will be outside for the dinner portion! Please bring something warm.
We are implementing a strict vaccination policy for attendance. Everyone invited is known to be vaccinated. If you are not boosted yet, we strongly encourage you to do so! I know COVID-19 is (mercifully) in retreat...at the moment! But who knows what things might look like closer to the day. Please get tested... We may have some spare rapid tests. This is something our families feel strongly about and we want to respect them during this moment.
Our venue is located in West Adams, a central part of The City of Los Angeles. While it's a neighborhood we love, we would recommend finding a place either Downtown, Hollywood, or Silverlake/Los Feliz, all of which should put you around 20 mins away from the venue. AirB&B has some great options in all areas! Recommended Hotels, In Order of Budget: Miyako Hotel (Little Tokyo, Downtown) Millenium Biltmore (Pershing Square, Downtown) The Grafton (West Hollywood) Cara Hotel (Los Feliz) The Roosevelt (Hollywood)
It's not far from the the Hoover St Exit on I-10. We recommend getting an Uber, particularly if you are from out of town, or drink alcohol. If you drive, street parking shouldn't be difficult - but there is a paid lot near Pete's on Hoover.
We don't have a proper wedding registry, and we ask that you refrain from gifting household ware as our current home is packed tight and we haven't got room for much more! A donation to our honeymoon fund, visible in the main menu of this site, would mean a lot! Or consider donating to our favorite charity Feed The Streets Los Angeles by sending a Venmo donation to @feedthestreetsla Keep an eye out for our upcoming baby registry as well! He is due August 14th.
The short answer: no! There is a hard cap on how many people can fit in the venue and we are just about at limit. And while this won't be a rager, this also won't be a particularly kid friendly event. Plus, there won't be seats for them!
