Tokyo-style Neapolitan pizza. Be sure to make reservations early as the restaurant is very small.
Griffith Observatory
Great view of the Hollywood sign and the city. On a clear day you can see all the way out to the ocean. There's also a great hike that starts from the north end of observatory parking lot.
Los Liones Canyon Trail
Our favorite beach canyon trail has been closed since the Palisades fire, but this trail is open and is just as lovely. Great ocean views.
Annenberg Community Beach House
One of our favorite places to watch the sunset. And it's got clean beach bathrooms by the playground.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art & La Brea Tar Pits
A great place to spend an afternoon. Kids (and Virginia) love playing with the tar.
