It all began on a Carnival cruise to the Bahamas during on our college spring break. We reconnected in the Spring of 2016 and maintained a long distance relationship for 9 months. Ely relocated to Charlotte, NC in January of 2017 and we got engaged while in New York City, April 15, 2017. Ely's sister Bryn was a part of the engagement surprise and it was wonderful to have her there. We will be getting married on October 6, 2018.
