FAQs

Question

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors at the Inn grounds, weather permitting. The reception will be held in the Great Hall at the Bedford Village Inn.

Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

In keeping with the nature of the celebration, the dress code is formal. We encourage men to wear any color suit; ties are optional. For ladies, we encourage long dresses, jumpsuits, or pantsuits. Given the season, we recommend bringing a light sweater or a shawl for later in the evening. Ladies might also want to consider a wedge heel or flats, as the ceremony will be on grass.

Question

Is there a Room Block at the Inn?

Answer

Yes! Discounted rooms are available at the property for your convenience. Simply call the Grand at the Bedford Village Inn or use the code KEL2709 to book your room online. There are a limited number of rooms at the discounted rate, so we encourage you to inquire sooner rather than later. Please reach out to Virginia or Addy if you have any questions. If, for whatever reason, you would like to stay at a different property, there are some suggestions listed on the Travel page. There is no shortage of accommodations near the venue, so please do what works for you!

Question

What is the Order of Events?

Answer

The evening will begin with a Vow Renewal Ceremony at 4:30, followed by a cocktail hour and a reception until 10:30 pm. For further details, please see the Schedule Page.

Question

Does the Venue have Parking?

Answer

While there is ample parking at the venue, given the size of our gathering, we do encourage guests staying off the property to carpool if possible. Once you arrive at the venue, simply follow the signage to the back of the property.

Question

Are Children Allowed?

Answer

Although we would love to include all the little ones, due to our venue's capacity, we can only accommodate close relatives of the couple who are listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.
