Question

Will the event be outdoors?

Answer

Yes. With ideal weather the ceremony will take place on a large wooden deck overlooking Summerbrook’s lake. The reception to follow inside a barn a short walking distance from the ceremony area. The ceremony will take place in the barn in the event of inclement weather. Feel free to wear casual or comfortable shoes and weather appropriate attire. Pastel and spring colors are encouraged!

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes. Parking will be available in a close by field and will be clearly marked. Drive up and drop off options are available. Carpooling is encouraged.

Alcoholic beverages?

Answer

We are happy to provide each guest with a choice of beer or wine. Otherwise guest are welcome to bring their own liquor alcohol for responsible consumption! The venue restricts the consumption of alcohol after 9 pm.

Gifts or cards?

Answer

We will happily accept gifts and cards with monetary gifts at our ceremony, however consider donating to our honeymoon or pet sitting funds in leu of gifts! Monetary gifts are very helpful and any contribution would be greatly appreciated!

Are there designated smoking areas?

Answer

Yes. The venue owners respectfully request use of designated smoking areas. The area is marked with a sign and has bucket ash trays. It is located behind the barn, near the bathrooms. Please smoke responsibly, do not litter and only smoke in the designated area. Thank you!
